Joel Rosario won the third and fourth races on Sunday with favorites to take a two-race lead in the jockey standings at the winter-spring meeting.
Rosario will be expecting more success in the final races on the program. In the sixth race, he rides Wild Bean (3), who is dropping from fifth in a maiden special weight race for California-breds after a wide trip to a $50,000 claimer for maidens at six furlongs. David Hofmans, who is having an excellent meeting, trains Wild Bean.
Later on the program, Rosario rides Kazan in the seventh, and Rinse and Repeat in the ninth. Both are rated as leading contenders.
