- I'm not questioning HIDDEN SCROLL (7) from a talent standpoint, but taking even-money on a horse going two-turns for the first time, facing winners for the first time and running on a fast track for the first time isn't something I'm interested in
- VEKOMA (5) seems a tick on the chilly side to me from an odds standpoint, but if he improves upon his 2YO form, he'll be a handful; I still wonder if he'll be better going one-turn when it's all said and done
- I can echo the same thoughts for CODE OF HONOR (1), but to be frank: I thought he was terrible in this seasonal debut; he can certainly move forward, but he's an underlay this afternoon for me
- I love both BOURBON WAR (4) and GLOBAL CAMPAIGN (8); I landed on Global Campaign, feeling as though he's done nothing wrong in two lifetime starts for Stanley Hough, and I'm hopeful he can stalk the pace this afternoon
