Whitmore, at 3-5, won the $150,000 Hot Springs Stakes on Saturday at Oaklawn in his first start since finishing second in the Breeders' Cup Sprint.
Share the Upside was second and Welder, third. Whitmore rallied from off the pace to cover six furlongs on a track rated good in 1:09.39. Ricardo Santana, Jr., was aboard for co-owner and trainer Ron Moquett.
