Favored Vekoma punched his ticket to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby after rolling to an emphatic victory in Saturday's Grade 1 Blue Grass at Keeneland. Under Javier Castellano, he pressed the pace and left his rivals far behind in the stretch to win by 3 1/2 lengths.
Win Win Win rallied for second to edge by a nose Signalman for the place. The latter settled for the show, ahead of Somelikeithotbrown in fourth.
The winner, whose lone defeat in four starts came when he was third in the Fountain of Youth, raced 1 1/8 miles on a fast track in 1:50.93. The George Weaver trainee paid $4.80.
