Sturdy One was the easy winner of Friday's second race for $12,500 claimers, attracting four claims. Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer won the random draw for Sturdy One, a 7-yeaer-old mare by Langfuhr.

Sturdy One won the six-furlong race by 4 1-2 lengths as the 3-5 favorite. She was trained for Friday's race by Andrew Lerner, whose growing stable is having an excellent year, having won with 10 of 28 starters.
