Trainer Ron Moquett said Thursday that Javier Castellano has the mount on Whitmore for the Grade 1, $500,000 Churchill Downs on May 4.
Whitmore is based at Oaklawn and after a work here will head to Churchill Downs, said Moquett.
Whitmore is a Grade 1 winner of $2.4 million who ran second in last year's Breeders' Cup Sprint.
