Madman, ridden by Rafael Bejarano, stormed clear in the stretch to win a maiden special weight race for 3-year-olds at 6 1-2 furlongs in Sunday's sixth race.
The third choice in a field of five, Madman ($8.20) was timed in 1:18.38 and won by seven lengths over 18-1 On Easy Street. Arcaro, the 4-5 favorite, was never a factor and finished third, a half-length behind On Easy Street.
Madman, by Violence, is trained by Richard Baltas and is owned by Larry Roth and family's LNJ Foxwoods, who bred the colt. LNJ Foxwoods is a co-owner of Kentucky Derby winner Country House.
