Market King has joined the cast of expected entrants in the Preakness Stakes, the Maryland Jockey Club, which runs Pimlico, said in a press release on Sunday.
Market King is trained by D. Wayne Lukas. In his last two starts, he was 11th in the Blue Grass Stakes and third in one of the divisions of the Rebel.
Lukas has won the Preakness six times.
There are now 12 horses expected for the second leg of the Triple Crown.
