Logical horses kick off multi-race sequences with carryovers

Okay, back on-line after some computer issues.

In race 4, Scottish Jig, a full-sister to Grade 1 winner Seek Again, made a successful U.S. debut for Juddmonte Farms and Bill Mott, scoring a front-running victory as the 2-1 second choice.

Race 4 kicked off the pick-6 with $254,676 new money wagered into the pool on top of the two-day carryover of $36,862.

In race 5, where there was a delay due to J J Jen getting loose and running free for a while, Niko's Dream, rallied from 11th in 12-horse field to run down Kerry's Ring to kick off the NYRA Bets pick-5 that had $187,465 new money in pool on top of $47,519 carryover.

Junior Alvarado rode the winner for Barclay Tagg.
