1) Coal Front 19-1
2) McKinzie 3-1
3) Mitole 3-1
4) Thunder Snow 8-1
5) Tale of Silence 99-1

9) Prince Lucky 12-1
- MCKINZIE (2) was spectacular winning the Alysheba at Churchill most recently, and I think he'll relish this slight cut to a one-turn mile
- MITOLE (3) was electic winning the Churchill Downs most recently, and he displayed a new dimension - being able to sit off a target and still be effective; another logical contender
- THUNDER SNOW (4) is a serious racehorse, but I think this is nothing more than a means to an end for him; I think he's at his best going longer
- PRINCE LUCKY (9) is sneaky in this race for Pletcher/Velazquez at a price; either of his efforts from Gulfstream earlier this year makes him a threat
- I like FIRENZE FIRE (7) to win the Met Mile; his effort in the Runhappy was exceptional, and I believe he's even better going this one-mile distance
I made Firenze Fire 3-1 on my value line; he's currently 4-1 with 17 MTP.
