Jockey Rafael Bejarano recorded consecutive wins on Saturday to reach 4,000 career victories in North America.

Bejarano won the third race on Dr. Troutman ($32.60) and the fourth race on Portal Creek ($5.20).

The milestone was the subject of a brief ceremony in the winner's circle after the fourth race with photographs and an announcement from track commentator Frank Mirahmadi.

There was no time for celebration. Bejarano rides Twisted Plot (7) in the upcoming fourth race.
