Valiant Defender captures Lone Star meet's first two-turn race for 2-year-olds

Valiant Defender, at 5-1, captured the Lone Star Park meet's first two-turn race for 2-year-olds Saturday, in a maiden special weight at seven and a half furlongs on the turf. He is a son of Stay Thirsty.
