There were two late scratches from Sunday's ninth race with approximately 20 minutes to post.

Royal Blue Grass (6) got loose in the barn area while being led to the receiving barn and was withdrawn.

Mr. Class was taken out after he was found to be a gelding. Mr. Class was listed as a colt at time of entry. When such a situation occurs, horses are withdrawn, per California Horse Racing Board rules. 

The scratches leave a field of seven in a $20,000 claiming race for maidens.
