Pendleton will make his first start since a blowout stakes win in Saturday night's J.R. Malouff Handicap at the Downs at Albuquerque. He's the 123-pound highweight in the field of eight and he will be making his first start since a 14-length win in the $75,000 San Juan County Commissioners Handicap at SunRay Park.
The Malouff, at seven furlongs, is meant to serve as his bridge to the $200,000 Downs at Albuquerque Handicap on Aug. 3, according to his trainer, Justin Evans. Others making up the field include Classy Classy, Oh So Regal and King of the Court.
