Halfmoon Reef and Moro Said Ready, a pair of 2-year-olds who each won stakes races in their last starts, are part of a nine-hosre field for the $100,000 colts and geldings division of the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity on Sunday at Lone Star Park. The race is one of four restricted stakes on the program, and the races are worth a combined $300,000.
Halfmoon Reef won the $75,000 colts and gelidngs division of the D.S. "Shine" Young Futuriity on Saturday night at Evangeline Downs, while Moro Said Ready won last month's $65,000 colts and geldings division of the Texas Stallion Stakes at Lone Star.
Also on the card, It's My Money goes in the $100,000 fillies division of the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity following her win in last month's $65,000 fillies division of the Texas Stallion Stakes. She's Our Fastest goes in the $50,000 Valor Farm, while 12 signed on for the $50,000 Assault.
