Nileist, ridden by Ruben Fuentes, drifted out in the final strides and finished a nose in front of Dawood, the 4-5 favorite. Refractometer (8-1) finished third, beaten two lengths, but was forced to check in traffic in the final strides. The stewards reviewed video but left the order of finish unchanged.
