Under a classic Yannick Gingras drive, #10 Wheels on Fire blasted and cleared to the front immediately, yielded, popped back out before the 1:20 1/5 three-quarters and got up to win at 6/1.
His 1:48 1/5 clocking lowered his previous life's mark by a full second, after having finished second in 1:47 4/5 in race 1 last Saturday, a night where we saw Lather Up equal the fastest mile ever pacing in 1:46 flat in the Graduate Final.
