Contratto (19-1) unseated jockey Ruben Fuentes at the start of Sunday's seventh race for maiden claimers. Fuentes was quickly on his feet.

Contratto ran at the back of the field and collided with the outside rail near the quarter-pole, falling over the rail. He was being attended to by veterinarians.

The race was won by Amped ($27.40).
