The third race features the debut of the Jackpot Power Pick 6. The 20-cent base bet revolves around bettors picking the winners of six consecutive races on a program. The Jackpot proviso means the entire pool pays out only when this is a single winning ticket that has all six winners.

If there is not a unique winning ticket, half of the wagering pool will be carried over to the next card, and the other half is paid out in a consolation to the ticketholders with the most winners in the sequence. At some point, there will be a mandatory payout day.

The new wager is advertised as having a 15 percent takeout.

The Jackpot Hi carryover is $49K.
