Majestic Gigi, last of five in her debut at Del Mar on July 28, is the 2-1 favorite in early betting to win the fifth race, a maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies.
Majestic Gigi (6) was 20-1 on the morning-line, but was the 2-1 favorite with 20 minutes to post. Trained by Hector Palma, Majestic Gigi broke slowly in her debut, recovered to take the lead, but faded in early stretch.
