Horse Greedy ($26.20) caught pacesetter Much Better to win an allowance race with a $62,500 claiming option by a nose in Sunday's fourth race.
Ridden by Jorge Velez, Horse Greedy ran 6 1-2 furlongs in 1:17.24, ending a five-race losing streak that included a fifth in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Sprint Championship in October.
Much Better (8-5) had not started since a seventh in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens Stakes at Belmont Park in June.
Much Better was followed in the order of finish by California Street, Lil Milo and Instagrand.
Sunday's race was the first start for Instagrand since an eighth as the even-money favorite in the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile at Churchill Downs in June. Instagrand was the even-money favorite in Sunday's race. He raced near the front to early stretch before fading.
