Mirth, the morning-line favorite for Sunday's Grade 3 Bayakoa Stakes was withdrawn on the morning of the race, because of the wet-fast conditions, trainer Phil D'Amato said.
There was rain early Sunday morning on a track that was already wet from rain on Friday and early Saturday.
D'Amato said Mirth will be pointed for the Grade 3 Robert Frankel Stakes for fillies and mares at 1 1-8 miles on turf at Santa Anita on Dec. 28.
Mirth has run on turf in the last two years, winning the Grade 1 Rodeo Drive Stakes at Santa Anita in September and sixth in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 2.
