The final three horses that had been under quarantine at Remington Park have been released from quarantine, according to an update from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture. It was posted late Tuesday by the Equine Disease Communication Center.
The quarantine had been imposed after a handful of horses tested positive for equine herpesvirus during the Remington meet that ended Dec. 15.
There are two additional horses under quarantine, but they have been stabled on private properties and being monitored, according to the update.
