Champion British Idiom among stakes winners on Saturday tab at Oaklawn Park

Champion British Idiom was among a number of stakes winners on the Saturday worktab at Oaklawn Park. The track was fast on an overcast morning in the 70s. 

British Idiom, who launched her 3-year-old season Feb. 15 with a runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Rachel Alexandra at Fair Grounds, worked a half-mile in 48.40 seconds Saturday. Daily Racing Form's Marcus Hersh previously reported on her plans, which are for the Grade 3, $400,000 Fantasy now scheduled for May 1. 

Other stakes winners on the worktab included Warror's Charge, who went a half-mile in 48 seconds as part of his preparations for the Grade 2, $600,000 Oaklawn Handicap. Click here for more on Warrior's Charge. 

*Mr. Jagermeister went five-eighths in 59.40 seconds. 

*Break Even went a half-mile in 48.40 seconds. 

*Night Ops, winner of the Essex Handicap, went a half-mile in 49.60 seconds. 

*Midnight Fantasy, on deck for the Carousel, went five-eighths in 59.40 seconds. 

*Blackberry Wine, being pointed for the Arkansas Derby, went a half-mile in 48 seconds.
