Delta Downs in Vinton, La., which is located right across the border from Texas, has ordered a mandatory evacuation of its property because of Hurricane Laura, the track announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
Delta will close down its off-track betting operation on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the notice.
The track completed its Quarter Horse meet on Saturday night.
