Evangeline to put on live card Friday night

Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La., will be racing live Friday night after calling off Wednesday and Thursday as a precautionary measure due to Hurricane Laura.

Officials had a Friday morning meeting to determine whether or not racing would resume Friday. Evangeline will be off the turf Friday, according to a notice from the track.
