According to owner-trainer Glen Todd (5) He's the Reason came down with a cough and was scratched out of the Grade 3 Longacres Mile. Todd still has an excellent chance with (2) Five Start General who is the 9-2 second choice on the morning-line behind (4) Anothertwistafate who is making his first start since he finished 10th in the 2019 Preakness. 

Two-time Kentucky Derby winner Mario Gutierrez rides Five Star General. Two-time Mile winner Juan Gutierrez rides Anothertwistafate for trainer Blaine Wright who is seeking his first win in the Mile. 

This will be the first time the Mile has been run on a weekday and under the lights. Post time for the premier race in the Northwest is 8:30 p.m. 

It is supported by the $40,000 Emerald Distaff where the Frank Lucarelli-trained (4) Killarney Lass will try to take them all the way in the 1 1/16 miles race for fillies and mares. 

If a duel develops it could set up nicely for (7) Amazonian who Mario Gutierrez will ride for Todd.
