New Mexico has issued new statewide restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic and those restrictions will force Zia Park in Hobbs to suspend live racing through Nov. 30, according to an official. The meet runs through Dec. 23.
New Mexico has called for all non-essential businesses, including horse racing, to cease operations for the next two weeks, according to a press release.
