Trainer Karl Broberg and jockey Tim Thornton teamed to win five of the nine races on the Delta Downs season opener Tuesday. 

Thornton has won the last two riding titles at Delta and Broberg has won the training title at the track every year since 2011, according to a press release from Delta. 

Also on the opening card, Speaktomeoflove ($30.20) won his third straight race in the $60,000 B-Connected.
