The connections of Caddo River, who won the Smarty Jones on the Friday card at Oaklawn Park, will team together in next Friday's featured allowance with The Sound. The horse closed out his 3-year-old season in November at Aqueduct, with a first-level allowance win that garnered a Beyer Speed Figure of 104.
The Sound is owned by Shortleaf Stable, trained by Brad Cox, and will be ridden by Florent Geroux. The horse is by Hard Spun, the same sire as Caddo River.
The Sound's rivals next Friday include Make Noise.
