Redatory has been named the Texas-bred Horse of the Year, the Texas Thoroughbred Association announced Wednesday.  

The other Texas-bred champions for 2020 are: Con Lima, 2-year-old filly; Hulen, 2-year-old colt/gelding; Boerne, 3-year-old filly; Gold Pilot, 3-year-old colt/gelding; Ima Discreet Lady, older filly or mare; Redatory, Sunlit Song, co-champion older males; Meme Jo, champion claimer; My Silver Song, champion broodmare   

"We applaud the success of these Texas-breds last year, both within our state and around North America," Mary Ruyle, executive director of the TTA, said in a press release. "At this time, we haven’t determined plans for our annual awards banquet, but we hope to be able to honor these champions with an in-person event later this year."
