Grade 2 winner Keepmeinmind breezed Friday morning at Oaklawn as he continues preparations for his 3-year-old debut, which is scheduled to come in the Grade 2, $1 million Rebel Stakes on March 13 at Oaklawn.
Trainer Robertino Diodoro said Keepmeinmind breezed five furlongs in 1:02.20 on Friday, and galloped out six furlongs in 1:14. Regular rider David Cohen was aboard the horse, who backed up to the eighth pole, went into his work at the five-eighths pole, finished up at the wire and galloped out strongly. The track was fast on an overcast morning in the 50s.
"Very nice, easy, relaxed," Diodoro said. "That's what we wanted today. I'm real happy with the way he relaxed."

Entries for the Rebel, which is a points race for the Kentucky Derby, will be taken Tuesday. It will anchor a card of five stakes.
