Whistle Stop Cafe, the world champion Quarter Horse of 2020, will launch her 3-year-old season Sunday at Ruidoso Downs. She is set to run in trials for the Rainbow Oaks. 

Entries for Sunday at Ruidoso Downs

The start will be the first since last fall for Whistle Stop Cafe, who won the All American Futurity at Ruidoso in her 2-year-old finale Sept. 7. She is undefeated in six starts. 

Whistle Stop Cafe is set to run in the fourth race Sunday. It will be contested over 440 yards. Last year, she won the Rainbow Futurity. The trial Sunday will mark the first time she's run in a race restricted to fillies.
