Jockey Sasha Risenhoover plans to base at Remington Park when the meet opens Aug. 20 and before then has riding engagements at Louisiana Downs and Prairie Meadows, agent Bill Castle said Monday. 

Castle is the new agent for Risenhoover. He also continues to represent David Cohen, who is based at Saratoga, and Ramon Vazquez. Vazquez has some upcoming stakes engagements on the road - with Lone Rock at Saratoga and Mr. Wireless at Mountaineer - and also will be riding some at Louisiana Downs. He will base this fall at Remington Park, where he is a multiple title winner.  

Risenhoover, who has an upcoming stakes mount at Prairie Meadows, won the first race of her career in Oklahoma in 2011. Risenhoover has gone on to win stakes with such horses as Terra's Angel, It's the Swede, Brave Daisey, Silvercents and Discreet Smile. 

"I look forward to the opportunity to work with her," Castle said. "She rides a very smart race."

Risenhoover is closing in on 500 career wins, with 480 through Monday.
