There have been 132 juveniles catalogued to a 2-year-olds in-training sale April 6 at Lone Star Park, the Texas Thoroughbred Association announced Wednesday. The auction is put on by both the Grand Prairie, Texas, track and the TTA. The under tack show is set for April 4.
“We tried to put together a diverse catalog with something for just about everyone,” Foster Bridewell, sales director for the TTA, said in a press release. “Our consignors really had a lot to offer, in terms of stallion strength and pedigree, and we are grateful they saw fit to sell with us. We’re excited about book we’ve put together and think our buyers will be too.”
Among the stallions represente are Always Dreaming, Arrogate, Cloud Computing, Distorted Humor, Ghostzapper, Mendelssohn, Runhappy, Tapwrit, Too Much Bling and Sky Mesa.
The catalog includes a half-sibling to Mr Money Bags, a past Texas-bredof the Year.
“The catalog is strong, family-wise,” Bridewell said. “We have horses that are out of stakes winners, by stakes winners, by proven and new stallions, half siblings to stakes winners or stakes placed horses, and half to Texas champions. We couldn’t ask for a better group and can’t thank our consignors enough for bringing them to Texas.”
The catalog is now online at www.ttasales.com. They will be mailed soon, according to a notice from the TTA.
