Sam Houston announced its stakes schedule Tuesday and it will again be led by the Grade 3, $300,000 Houston Ladies Classic on Jan. 28. The card will also include the Grade 3, $200,000 John B.Connally Cup.
The 43-date meet starts Jan. 6 and will feature daytime racing, with a 1 p.m. Central post on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
