David Flores, the veteran journeyman who recently returned to California, won Saturday's second race on 9-1 Iron Rob, rallying wide in a $32,000 claimer at six furlongs.

This was the second mount of the meeting for Flores, who has two more mounts this afternoon - Roaring Fork (5) in the upcoming third race and Wild Verse in the seventh race.

Flores did not ride at Del Mar in 2016.
