Texas Chrome pushed past pacesetter Supermason to win the $50,000 Assault on Saturday night at Lone Star Park. He is the second Texas-bred in history to go over $1 million in earnings, behind champion Groovy, according to the Texas Thoroughbred Association.

Richard Eramia was aboard Texas Chrome for Danny Keene and trainer Allen Milligan.
