Morning rain has forced the turf races onto the main track. There are more showers in the forecast for the afternoon, which will tighten up the Tapeta.
Patrick Husbands and Sunny Singh are off their mounts.
The New York grasser Stormy Victoria will make just her second synthetic track start in the G3 Ontario Fashion Stakes. She won her debut over an all-weather surface in her native France two years ago at 2, and has come into her own this year for trainer Christophe Clemet, who sent her out to win a fast six-furlong optional claimer last out at Belmont.
Other contenders in the wide open six-furlong dash are Moonlit Promise, Code Warrior, Sugar Jones. Last year's Canadian champion female sprinter, River Maid, is scratched and is going through the Keeneland November Sale.
The Jackpot Hi 5 carryover is $8K.
The scratches can be found soon at http://pro.drf.com/entries
