X Y JET (1) is very clearly the horse to beat - you don't need me to tell you that. He's likely controlling speed, and he's certainly the fastest horse on paper. Having said that, the combination of the speed-friendly track he ran on in the Mr. Prospector along with the way he was drifting out a bit late make me want to take a slight shot against him.

SHEIKH OF SHEIKHS (7) had no real excuse when finishing third on December 20, but I think he should take a step forward in his second start off a long layoff for Mike Maker. If BOLD ENVOY (5) is the horse forced to do the dirty work early, perhaps Sheikh of Sheikhs can pull an ideal trip and score an upset. He's currently 14-1 with 11(ish) minutes to post.
