The pick six begins with Saturday's fifth race and has two carryovers - $42,018 in the main pool and $86,734 in the single ticket jackpot portion, paid only if there is one winning ticket.
The first leg of the $2 pick six is the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes for fillies and mares at seven furlongs that has five runners. The betting is led by Paradise Woods (3), who has not raced since finishing second in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes at seven furlongs for 3-year-old fillies on Dec. 26.
Paradise Woods is 3-5 with 14 minutes to post. Selcourt (5), the winner of the Grade 3 Las Flores Stakes last month, is a more attractive price, at 7-2.
