Souper Speedy's lone stakes victory came in the slop in the 2013 Jaipur at Belmont, which he won after the disqualification of Big Screen. The latter, another first-year Ontario sire, produced impressive debut winner Sav, who's a contender in the featured My Dear Stakes, a five and a half-furlong tilt for 2yo fillies.

The other debut winners in the $100K My Dear are probable favorite My Gal Betty, Tiz Breathtaking, Subsidiary, Questionoftheday and Entirely, who graduated with ease on the turf at Gulfstream.

Mark Casse has a 42-37 lead in the trainer standings over Norm McKnight, who doesn't have a starter on the card. Casse has runners in four races.

The Jackpot Hi 5 carryover is $41K.
