Thermopolis ($9.60) held off a late run from 3-1 favorite Push Through to win Friday's third race, the first leg of a $2 pick six that drew a pool of $741,441. The bet began with a two-day carryover of $165,583 from Wednesday and Thursday.

Thermopolis was the second choice in a field of 10.

While the pick six pool was strong, it is not the highest pool of the day so far. The 50-cent early pick five, with a 14 percent takeout, drew a pool of $846,778.
