Merlins Muse closed out the first full week of the 2018 Saratoga session rallying to an easy win in the finale returning $15.60 under Irad Ortiz Jr. for trainer David Donk.  The win capped off a Pick-6 sequence that began easily enough with the odds on Backtohisroots but which got progressively tougher and ultimately returned a generous $57,967 for 6 of 6.  

Racing resumes Wednesday with a nine race program topped by the $100,000 Shine Again for fillies and mares.
