The rain has arrived here in Saratoga Springs and from the looks of the local radar, it threatens to be here at least in varying intensity for a while.
The NYRA did get a good seal on the main track before the rain, but be ready to adapt if you constructed multi race plays for later in the card. Rain might have an adverse impact on race 6, a state bred turf sprint, and maybe race 9, the featured National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes, intended for the grass.
Fortunately, those were the only two turf races scheduled for today.
Fact is, horseplayers should be ready to adapt, anyway. It's on days like this in particular when potentially profitable track biases might surface.
