Raging Bull finished full of run down the center of the yielding turf course to catch Maraud in the final stride to capture the Grade 2 Hall of Fame Stakes under Joel Rosario. it was another length and one quarter back to third place finisher Ride a Comet. The win was the third in four starts for Raging Bull, whose only setback came in his previous outing when he finished second as the odds on choice in the Manila at Belmont Park.
Raging Bull gave trainer Chad Brown his fourth straight victory in the Hall of Fame. It was the second year in a row he combined to win the race with Rosario. Raging Bull completed the mile and one sixteenth over the yielding ground in 1:43.69 and returned $7.30.
