Indiana Grand in Shelbyville canceled its Wednesday card after a thunderstorm in the area delivered more than half an inch of rain to the track, the track said.

First post at Indiana Grand for a 10-race card was scheduled for 2:05 Eastern time. The track's Twitter account said that it had canceled the Wednesday card "due to track conditions from early morning weather and caution for our jockeys."

Indiana Grand was scheduled to run the $150,000 First Lady Stakes for Indiana-bred 3-year-old fillies as the seventh race on Thursday.

Indiana Grand is next scheduled to run live on Friday.
