Pilot Points Moon ($13.20) put up the fastest time during Day 2 of trials for the Grade 1, $3 million All American Futurity on Saturday at Ruidoso Downs. The finale is Sept. 3.
Pilot Points Moon won his 440-yard trial in 21.52 seconds, by a length and a half. Adrian Ramos was aboard for Grant Farms and trainer Wes Giles. The other qualifiers from Saturday were Mm Fourinthemorning, a two and a quarter length trial winner in 21.64 seconds; Badhabit Jess (21.66); No Mires a La Luna (21.68) and Rustys Miracle (21.69).
There were a total of 32 trials run between Friday and Saturday and the horses with the top five times from each program earned one of 10 spots in the gate for the All American.
