Roy H (even-money) had a perfect trip to win Saturday's Grade 1 Santa Anita Sprint Championship and earn a fees-paid berth to the Breeders' Cup Sprint, a race he won last year en route to the champion sprint title.
Roy H ran six furlongs in 1:09.09. Ridden by Paco Lopez, Roy H stalked pacesetter, and stablemate, Distinctive B before taking the lead with a three-wide move. Distinctive B held second, followed by Ransom the Moon, Edwards Going Left and Horse Greedy in a field of five.
