Saturday's second race went to favored Save Ground ($4.80) who edged The Street Fighter by a neck in an optional claimer at a mile on turf. After the race, Tiago Pereira, who rode The Street Fighter, alleged interference againt the winner on the first turn and in the stretch.

Save Ground and The Street Fighter had contact in the final strides. The stewards disallowed the foul claim.
